A contemporary cultural platform activating art, ideas, and public life.

A contemporary cultural space, open to the city, rooted in Lebanese heritage, and built for everyone who carries that heritage with them

The Nuhad Es-Said Pavilion for Culture is a dedicated platform for exhibitions, programs, and public encounters, where art, dialogue, and cultural memory meet. It operates alongside the National Museum of Beirut, extending the Museum’s reach into the present and opening its grounds to new voices, new works, and new communities.

The Pavilion exists to sustain Lebanon’s cultural life through the programs it presents, the artists it supports, and the community it builds. As it grows, its mission expands, contributing directly to the preservation of the National Museum of Beirut, Lebanon’s most enduring symbol of national memory.

The Nuhad
Es-Said Pavilion

The National Museum of Beirut stands as a guardian of Lebanon’s cultural heritage, preserving centuries of history and memory, even through conflict.

Set within its grounds, the Nuhad Es-Said Pavilion for Culture was conceived as a natural extension of the Museum, an annex designed not only to support its sustainability, but to expand its role in today’s cultural landscape. While the Museum protects the past, the Pavilion introduces a contemporary dimension, creating space for artistic expression, dialogue, and new interpretations of culture.

Together, they form a living continuum preserving heritage while shaping its relevance today.
